We’re growing at a rapid pace, so we need a scalable solution that is affordable to us now and can flex to fit us as we get larger.
As a nonprofit, we don't have the luxury of a large staff or IT budget. We found Intacct to be superior for its depth of functionality, support for fund accounting, overall flexibility, and automation capabilities.
When our team went in search of a new accounting solution, we were looking for cloud-based options that would be more scalable, flexible, and intuitive for our teams around the world. Sage Intacct was a no-brainer for us because, unlike NetSuite and the other vendors we looked at, it met all of our requirements for integrated time and expense management, and Multi-entity & global consolidations. It was robust and adaptable enough to grow with our business over time.
Sage Intacct offers flexibility, ease of use, and the ability to see where we are financially at any point in time with instant consolidations, and reporting capabilities that are outstanding—those are the things that are key for us. My time is now freer to work on investing funds rather than tracking them.
It's really nice for us to be able to log in and instantly search for whatever you need. Now we have 40 bank accounts, all of which are linked, in real-time. All the transactions come over daily. What's really nice about it is, we actually can have real-time, daily, cash understanding.
Before we made the switch, we were using archaic software that had been heavily customized, was costly to maintain, and wasn’t integrated. It was clear that we needed a new, more robust financial system that could sync with our payment portal in real-time to eliminate duplicate data entry and manual work. We looked at both NetSuite and Sage Intacct, and ultimately chose Sage Intacct because it offered sophisticated multi-entity ERP functionality in the cloud, as well as proven integrations with partner solutions like 2CP’s customer payment portal.
Every time we encounter a complexity, we quickly find there’s a way to solve it with Sage Intacct. If we have to accommodate consolidations with 10 layers of partnerships, we don’t worry about whether Sage Intacct can handle it because it’s so easy to use.
Sage Intacct has given us the ability to better forecast the business and focus on a go-forward strategy, rather than ‘here and now.’ I couldn’t have done that with NetSuite.
