Limitations

SolarWinds RMM comes with plenty of benefits and capabilities, but few limitations exist. At the time of this review’s publication, these are the limitations of the solution based on user feedback:

  •  No particular reports for antivirus or Webfilter activity. 
  •  Linux agents are not available for support. 
  •  Remote controlling mobiles have limited features. 
  •  Users cannot uninstall software that doesn’t have remote control sessions. 
  •  Needs exact exclusions for some particular patch management programs. 
  •  The SQL server back is priced separately and needs a separate server installation. 
  •  The alert status has limited priority level issues.
