Roy Semple

Roy is a 25-year veteran of technology sales and marketing. Prior to joining SelectHub, Roy spent over 10 years as VP of Sales and Head of Internet Marketing at Technology Evaluation Centers and previously held software sales and marketing roles with Quest, CGI, and his consulting firm, Beaurivage. Moving to western Canada to work in publishing in his early twenties led to the creation of Magus, a marketing communications firm serving oil, gas, and banking industry clients, and multiple international awards. Later, with his marketing consulting firm Beaurivage Development, he made his foray into enterprise software and IT services focused offerings.

We expect to buy things without screwing up. Just select what you want and pull out your wallet (ahem). Maybe next week. We are blithely optimistic when it comes to buying a new washing machine, or toaster—it’s going to work as expected, maybe better. Even for larger purchases like a new vehicle, juggling requirements like space, performance, and price is not a brain buster—and can actually be fun.
