On Desktop

Use the following method to update Chrome on Windows, Linux or Mac.
Step 1: Open Google Chrome.

Step 2: Look beside the three dots () at the top right. If you see an Update icon, it means an update is pending. If it’s colored:

Green: The update was released two days ago.
Orange: The update was released four days ago.
Red: The update was released over seven days ago.
